Author Information for One-page Papers for the 2020 IEEE Brain Workshop on Advanced Neurotechnologies

 

The 2020 IEEE Brain Workshop on Advanced NeuroTechnologies is accepting one-page papers on the following topics and other related area:

  • Neural signal processing and imaging
  • Neural computation and modeling
  • Cognitive engineering and decision making
  • Neural modulation and stimulation
  • Bioelectronic medicine
  • Neural interfaces, implants, and prostheses
  • Brain and body computer interfaces
  • Biomaterials for neural tissue engineering
  • Neural rehabilitation
  • Translational neural engineering
  • Neural Data science

All papers accepted to the 2020 IEEE Brain Workshop will be presented via a pre-recorded 5 minute video presentation.  Instructions will be provided.

Best Poster Award ($500.00 prize) will be announced on October 23, before closing remarks. Judging will be based on the recorded presentations.

Author Instructions:
The official language of 2020 IEEE Brain Initiative Workshop is English. Papers must be submitted in PDF and should be no longer than 1 page. Please use this template for Microsoft Word, which can then be converted to PDF.

All papers for the 2020 IEEE Brain Initiative Workshop must contain a statement about your ethics approval (or exemption), or why it is not applicable.

Submission Dates:
Submission Opens – August 7, 2020
New Submission Deadline – September 27, 2020
New Accept/Reject Notification – October 7, 2020

Author Registration:
It is expected that the submitting author will present the accepted paper in a pre-recorded video presentation. If the submitting author is not available, a co-author of the paper may present in the pre-recorded video presentation. At least one author of the paper must register for the 2020 IEEE Brain Workshop and be available to respond to questions or comments posed by other participants on the virtual conference platform.

Accepted paper authors will receive a special discount code for a $25 registration fee.  Please contact brain@ieee.org if you need further financial assistance.

Recorded Presentation Guidelines:
The presentation should include:

  • Paper Title
  • Names of all included authors
  • Reference to the 2020 IEEE Brain Workshop on Advanced Neurotechnologies

Timely submission of a valid video presentation will satisfy the workshop presentation requirement.
